partly because katrina remarked that the last post on this blog was ominous and depressing, and partly because i need a medium to hone my writing skills, if i plan to make a career out of this. so HELLO AGAIN, blogger, in addition to myspace and gmail and trent.blogspot.com...i have a new way to waste my time, and not do homework! YES!

so today was a rollercoaster of emotions, for me at least. i was happy with the times i swam at the ASEAN cup swim meet, but disappointed with my rankings. i kept missing medals by a split second, SHITDAMNFUCK <-- that was my basic reaction, each time. why is my luck so bad? because the way i see it, when it comes down to first, second, third and fourth all having the same numerical time (not including decimal places), then its ALL about luck and less about skill. hypothetically, my awesome freestyle skillz arent going to help my fingers inch ahead of yours too much in the last second of the race.

and then there is the much-discussed dance at the end of the night, where, to recapitulate, mansheng and kenneth jumped on the stage and stole the limelight from us, who had been spending hours working on the dance after training and such. jerks. i dont get how people can be that insensitive- it didnt help that everyone talked about how funny they were (oh yes, homosexual grinding. entertaining!) and that the photographer only took pictures of them. everyone was so disappointed, and i felt awful. alright, at least we got our revenge by our mock-toast, and threw water at them. mansheng or kenneth, if you read this, (if you can even read) i think you owe us a damn apology.

alright, enough ranting.

school tomorrow, and i still need to read 30 pages or so of art history, two chapters on Roosevelt's foreign policy for AP US, and write my student council speech. HELLO 4 hours of sleep again! it felt amazing to have up to 8 hours this weekend, i actually could function like a normal person again. oh well. i seriously live for the weekends now. not to party, but to SLEEP! mmm, i lovehate junior year.
